Intensive Outpatient Counseling Program

The Intensive Outpatient Counseling Program (IOP) is designed for adult and geriatric patients with mental, emotional, and/or behavioral issues. Led by a team of compassionate professionals, the program assists patients to achieve stabilization, manage chronic mental illness, and to avoid decompensation or hospitalization.

Our staff is comprised of Psychiatrists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Patient Care Coordinators, and a Transportation Coordinator. All of these professionals work together to provide experienced and quality care to each patient. Our areas of expertise include, but are not limited to:

  • Acute and/or Chronic Psychiatric Illness
  • Chemical Dependency/ Addictive Behavior
  • Crisis Intervention/Trauma Recovery
  • Geriatric Care
  • Developmental Issues/ Life Transitions

Our Unique Approach To Treatment

Our program is specifically created to provide day treatment outside of the hospital setting. The goal of our program is to promote independence, implement coping skills, and motivate patients to achieve their goals. This will ensure a sense of self-worth and lead to improved daily living skills that enhance independent functioning within the community. Our services provided include:

  • Individual, Group and Family Therapy
  • Activity Therapy
  • Case Management
  • Physician Supervision
  • Transportation

  • Prolonged grief
  • Loss of energy

  • Irritability/Agitation
